Haha. Gotta get a backup though. Looks like you guys are running Fredish into the ground. - DrunkenCanuck
Hellebuyck has played 1 more game than Freddy and no one talks about that.
Edit: basically evey other starter has the same amount of games played.
Unfortunately our backup hasn't gotten us very many wins. That's the only difference. |

This is true. Kind of like how 16 of 31 teams are right against the cap but Leafs are the posterboys for "Cap Hell".

you're in banana land.
PP under babcock last 3 years: 2nd, 2nd, 8th
2019-20, babcock vs keefe, toi:
matthews 19:50 vs 20:15
nylander 18:00 vs 17:37
marner 19:40 vs 22:15
tavares 18:26 vs 20:24
marner and tavares are playing signigicantly more than they were. but you are oblivious to that. nylander and matthews are about the same.
listen. keefe is getting more out of the lineup this year. but it's clear that you don't understand why. - Tumbleweed
Now do E/S...

True, but no one really cares outside of that Siberian Swamp.
I think other teams may start load managing their starters down the stretch. If the Leaves picked up Miller, they would have that option. |

Nylander was benched for almost the entire 3rd period of the game against the Wings. So, his ice time will be lower... Since that game, he's been really good. |

Yeah but but but Sportsnet and TSn have to talk about the Jets more...
The "Concerns" about the Leafs are always overhyped and seem like bigger issues than any other team. I actually had a Jets fan yesterday mocking the Leafs "Horrible" Defence. |

Jets have allowed 120 goals to Leafs' 132 in one less game... not exactly defensive juggernauts |

Jets have elite goaltending.
The hype about the Leafs is Freddy saves them every game. The stats don't support this. Halleybuck is a Vezina candidate and carrying the Jets. |

But all we heard is Freddy is the best and the Leafs stink without him. Again, Toronto hype. |

roper's point was nylander was playing more under keefe, therefore scoing more.
i blame myself. i need to stop discussing his nonsense.
nylander is good. my pre-season prediction (which can be easily located, not just made up):
People think this guy sucks, but he's not so bad (and the reason is): Nylander. somehow under rated for his talent.
