I think Harpur is incorrect in his thinking, but if there's anyone out there that's willing to part with _anything_ equivalent to a 7th round pick or better, I'd take the deal.

Bracco is only likely to make the roster if there are significant injuries. To me he's either a diminishing return (less than the 2nd rounder we paid to draft him; or he's traded for a young reclamation project we think we can use now (or next year like Puljujarvi))

Timashov is a surprise to me. He's doing ok, but I can't see him getting any more of a shot anywhere else.

Given their current placement and waiver eligibility, I'd certainly look to move Timashov before waiving him.

If we trade Nylander for help on D it better be for a pretty boy like Barrie. None of this horse face Jared Cowen stuff anymore, Leafs are past that in the rebuild.
