Cheez whiz exists because it tastes good on philly cheeseteaks and nachos.

I saw a hockey game at BMO and that was good, but that's a soccer pitch.

- Zezel

Here are the ingredients of Cheez Whiz, according to the Kraft website: whey, milk, canola oil, maltodextrin, milk protein concentrate, sodium phosphate, contains less than 2% of modified food starch, salt, lactic acid, whey protein concentrate, mustard flour, Worcestershire sauce (vinegar, molasses, corn syrup, water, salt, caramel color, garlic powder, sugar, spices (contains celery), tamarind, natural flavor), sodium alginate, sorbic acid as a preservative, color added, cheese culture, enzymes, natural flavor.

Real cheese tastes good on philly cheesesteaks and nachos. I went to the 2014 winter classic where there were over 100,000 in attendance. Paid a high price for reasonably good seats and as Wedgie points out - could not see the puck. I think for me at least, it is more gimmick than it is about sport.

It will be interesting to see if the announcers talk about the puck bouncing - the NHL probably told them not to.

Don't think it was much of a hit. Eichel gets right back up, McCabe going after Sergachev was ridiculous and he got a well earned beating.

It was solid. You don’t often see the stars get hit like that.

I’ve always said, once the Russians start fighting in the NHL, look the (frank) out! Kinda ironic how Russians could be the saviour of the Canadian brand of hockey.

I believe Sergachev is going to be exceptional, hate the fact that Tampa got him for Drouin. Great trade for Tampa, not so much for the Habs.

Fenway was good.

At least if you weren’t out in the Bleachers. I was high behind first base/the goal. Fantastic vantage point.

I can’t believe that was 10 years ago

Why the Frank would anyone go watch a hockey game in a football stadium?

There isn't a single good seat. Nobody will be able to see the puck.

- Atomic Wedgie

Did you ever go see the Raptors when they played at the Sky Dome?

To be fair, I don't like basketball, but they used to give away the top seats in the stadium to local companies. They garbage bagged off the seats beyond so that it didn't look like there were thousands of empty seats in the stadium.

Anyway, we got the free seats one time, and went to a local bar beforehand (My Apartment on Peter Street where beer & mixed drinks were $2) and made to the game just after the half.

Admittedly I was drunk, but I spent most of my time having no clue where the BALL was or what was going on.

I couldn't imagine trying to track the puck from the far seats in these "classic" games.

Gimme processed cheese on those things any day. Same with burgers, a plastic wrapped slice of American cheese is perfection. Real cheese is for other things.

I saw the puck at the winter classic, but I wasn't expecting great optics. Those things are all about the event, the atmosphere. I probably wouldn't go to another one, but it was fun.

If you go another one, try and target a baseball stadium one. Although, I assume you’d only go to a Leafs one so I don’t know how that would work, unless it were away. They’ll probably never take this event out of America anyways.

Cool.

It's also right next to where Lord Stanley of Preston bought a silver shaving bowl.

My biggest issue with the winter classic, is the fact that they have the game and then no others scheduled after it.

Yeah let's face it I'm never traveling to see an outdoor game lol...I'd like to see a Leafs away game but a regular one. Like in Florida or Dallas or some poop. Or Colorado, go skiing too.

MLSE used to give me a pair of two every year for Raptors at Skydome - I never went.

I just enjoy seeing all the different stadiums and more of a football atmosphere to a hockey game.

The NHL is stupid for not having giant outdoor hockey arenas in NYC, TOR, MTL, BOS etc. Make them play like 10 home games a year each. I’d watch most of them. A stadium home and home series would be sweet.

90% of North America is hungover today and sitting on their couches.

This is a missed opportunity.

It really doesn’t make sense.

So, actually, it makes sense, because the NHL never makes sense.

Anyone who prefers processed cheese is probably to lazy to slice real cheese and then seal it properly so it doesn’t go moldy. Don’t argue. Your lazy.

I prefer it on a burger, because there's already enough messy grease going on.

Processed cheese doesn't sweat.

I don't prefer it in general, just in specific applications like on American-style cheeseburgers. Using an aged cheddar on something like that isn't as good.
