Can I assume people are already blaming Lyndsey Vonn?

Not a big fan of outdoor hockey. My fear is that the ice is less than exceptional and some one will have a long term injury. Worry about something that will never happen, I suppose.
Oh well, great for Bettman and business. |

Like anything, those flaws would get engineered out of existence. If they had a specific building made for outdoor hockey, then I’m sure they could make near perfect ice conditions.
People just have a hard time embracing change. It challenges them to adjust. |

Yeah let's face it I'm never traveling to see an outdoor game lol...I'd like to see a Leafs away game but a regular one. Like in Florida or Dallas or some poop. Or Colorado, go skiing too. - Zezel
We saw a game in Tampa a few years ago. Bernier was in goal, Reimer on the bench. We were so far up in the corners, I could barely see the numbers. Leafs were crap, but every time the Bolts scored the place exploded.
Good to see live, but nothing beats the view and commentary on TV. Plus there's no line-up for beer at my joint. |

Last year at the deadline there were rumors that the leafs were going after a "name", just saying could it have been p.k maybe |

Not an easy match and PK not worth his contract, not even close.

Just to add, wife and I saw one game at ACC when Tucker and Mats were there. Tied it late and Darcy scored the OT winner against Ottawa.
I never felt such a vibration in a large building like that before. Wow! |

Keefe splitting AM and WN 5 vs 5 sometimes has helped both players it seems like. But Nylander has been skating hard most of the time now. He looks like a guy who hated Babs first off, but he just hasn't been taking shifts and nights off. Glad he figured it out. |

Rainouts and cancellations are still a reality with outdoor stadiums in baseball. Unlike hockey though within the span of a three or four game series a double header can make up a game or two. This would be much more difficult to deal with for the NHL, especially where opponents meet once a year at a venue. |

Make it like a mini-football stadium with a retractable roof. 45,000 people indoor/outdoor arena would be madness. If it’s good OD conditions, open it up! |

Go to a game in Ottawa or Montreal - no arena should be bigger than 20,000. After that, you are better off in front of your tv.

Meh. I find only cheap cheese “sweats” another reason why people like fake cheese is it’s cheap. So to summarize. If you like fake cheese. Your lazy and cheap. Lol. Hopefully no one actually takes offense here. Just having some fun. Happy New Years leafers |

Would have to be a an extremely strong market to consistently house that an fans. How many American cities, or cities warm enough, could handle it? |

Toronto, NY...
Make the prices affordable.
Canada should build one just for Hockey Canada and other events, and let the Leafs use it for big games.
It would work in Toronto. How do the Jays, with less fans than the Leafs, have a stadium with a 55,000 seat capacity? |

In TO it would work for Leaf games.
The Dome was built at the time to be a premier site for the Jays, Argos (back when they drew 30,000+, but also for international tours and concerts. Another stadium holding 45+ would need to be filled on the days the Leafs weren't playing. There is a lot of competition in that area in the city. |
