I went on to the score expecting to see something Canucks related from last night. Nothing.

Pearson, Horvat, pettersson, Eriksson. Only ones without a hit last night. Tanev and Hughes on defence.

I'm pretty sure I saw Loui Eriksson accidentally run into someone last night, that I thought should have still been recorded as a hit.

It’s gross. I hate it so I generally stay away from sportsnet or that other abomination tsn.

I didn't dislike the game but it was basically the complete opposite of playoff hockey which is usually the most entertaining type of hockey. I don't need 12 goals to be entertained.

Me too, that’s why I was there. Iain Mac got his usual pap on there but that’s it.

I think it’s the intensity you like and that’s hard to replicate over an 82 game season. So lots of goals makes up for the lack of intensity.

Another NHL team has taken a chance on Ilya Kovalchuk. The Montreal Canadiens announced a contract for the enigmatic Russian sniper, signing Kovalchuk to a one-year, two-way contract worth $700K at the NHL level. The deal is worth the minimum at both the NHL and AHL level, limiting the risk involved with signing the former Los Angeles King.

Why? It’s fun to point out character flaws. Especially when those people have so many flaws to point out.

Loui has quietly brought a pretty good defensive game back with him. He'll get a few garbage goals but he knows his role has changed.
