I think the Canucks plan is to break in one rookie per year. Next year it should be between Lind and hoglander. I suspect they want madden to play center in Utica for a year

I've discounted small young guys before being able to translate that into the NHL, not anymore, that kids got wheels to match his skill level which tips the scales for me.

If anyone wants to hate Benning a bit more, Sweden's goalie is the pick TB got from Vancouver in the trade for Miller.

Benning was really wanting that pick, That was his guy.

There's a good chance Hogs will come to Canucks before end of season. Depending on injuries he'll get games if not he'll be the extra learning from the experience being with the team.

Lind probably start next season as Schaller replacement for fourth line. Work his way up. Hogs would be Leivo replacement. Its a numbers game with the cap Canucks have to bring in entry level deals to fit the other guys raises like JV for example.

Why would we even have picked a goalie? We've got Demko (24) and DiPietro (20). We don't really need an 18 year old prospect at this point. That pick would have been a skater.

Yeah they could have picked a D man in the 3rd round. Though later on they picked that Latvian tender who went to flounder in the OHL this season.
