What I am saying is they will stay on LTIR unless a player currently gets injured.

And when they come in they'll be back as fast as you can say Tabernac.

Canucks are sitting at 48 pts at the halfway mark. If they play 500 hockey the second half they finish with 90 pts. Last year they were a 500 team this year they are better.

If they finish the second half with three more wins than 500 they finish with 96 which should make them a playoff team . I don't see them making many changes unless things fall apart.

- VANTEL

No major changes yes, but please do anything to end the reign of Loui the 21st

Yes they can. That's why tweeks from the minors would be nice.

My expectations for this season have been met already. Never thought I'd say that in early Jan.

Loving the growth and I don't want the team super accelerated just to push for a 50th celebration. But I think rewarding a player like Boucher with a spell with the big club sets a good tone throughout the organization. Letting Loui the 21st play and even stay up with the Canucks, to me, set a bad example. Especially when a player like Boucher is leading the AHL in scoring and is a forgotten man at 26. I don't think he is the be all, end all, but he is written off in the media and with most of the fan base. Give him a shot again, at least to show hard work and results mean something.

I made a couple of bets for them to make the playoffs before the season started. Combination of them growing and the Smythe Division being rather weak.
I am pleased to see the drafts coming together and entertaining hockey as well.

I don't know if they are in a playoff race they will be rewarding Comet players. Boucher has played a lot of games already in the NHL. They are rewarding Boucher with a one way contract of 750 K. Good chance he is not a full time NHL player so I don't know how many teams would offer him tht money to play in AHL.

I know they have to consider the Comets run, and the minor league deal they gave him as a reward, but this is a farce. If they were not playing as well as they are and in the playoff race, would they still be carrying him like this?
To me the Canucks playoff push, trumps the Comets and he is beyond the weak link on almost all levels. If our only way of improving the roster is from within then do what needs to be done.

The reality is they doing this good.

Benning and Green are trying to win every game to impress the owner, the fans , the hockey world and their team. No on likes the Eriksson deal .

I don't watch Eriksson play no interest in him. I don't have anything to add about him but if they continue winning he will probably play.

Canuck my be a top 10 team. I suggest let them deal with cap hit and roster.

To me bring in Hoglander and Rafferty next year and I am happy. Fuk Loui

Think about it its for this road trip only. JV is playing his best hockey and when with Bo produces. Gaudette could use face off help from Sutter who also has good shot if set up. Ferland has barely played any hockey this season he would need time to get up to speed but would be an upgrade on Schaller.

Ain’t broke don’t fix it. Leave JV with Gaudette.

It will come down to injuries again. You can't count on Sutter & Ferland to stay healthy. You can't go shopping.
- VanHockeyGuy

Why even go shopping?

I agree. Just need to find a defensively sound playmaker on the other wing. That ain’t easy.
