How is CBJ undefeated in 10? How has Van won 6 straight? For that matter how in the (frank) are the Leafs 8-1-1? The league is streaky as (frank) this season.

Seriously though. How weird is it for so many Rasmus' to be coming into the league all at once? Ristolainen, Asplund, Dahlin, Sandin, there's another prospect I can't recall who is a Rasmus. I don't recall Rasmus being the "Michael" of Scandinavia until now.

Ha ha, I don't know these things because my family really Canadianized when they came over. Just the butter cookies. My mother does heap scorn on Finns from time to time though, cause they're not real Scandinavians.

that's why I say there are 8-10+ cup contenders. When I hear people leave out the Leafs as a contender I laugh.

Everyone picked tampa last year and they did not win a single playoff game. i hear peopel say "Only Washington and Boston' can come out of the east. that's crazy. Virtually every year the favourites don't win the cup.

Yeah the parity is great. How do you pick right now between the Blues, Caps, Pens, Bruins, Vegas, Avs, Isles, Tampa, Leafs...it's gonna be a battle royale. I just wouldn't bet on the Blues strictly only because of odds of anyone repeating, no other reason. It's a coin flip.
