The joke is that those guys ARE better than Sandin, yet the media (Dreger) will constantly play up the massive amount of interest in Offer Sheeting Sandin for "clicks/drama" while ignoring the presumably better players also available for the same treatment as they don't move the needle in terms of ratings due to the fanbase.

Everyone reads leaf articles. Everyone. Leaf fans read them to find out about their team. Everyone else reads them to find ammunition as to why the leafs suck and are overrated.

Leaf fans watch games of leafs....and other teams as well all the time. They read articles about the leafs, but also about other teams and leagues and so on. But no leaf fan complains about the amount of coverage another team gets.

In Liljegren’s draft year i wanted him but i believe Sandin is better than him in his draft. Not to sure about Liljegren yet but D take their own time to round out so no rush.

Lilygren doing things in the ahl that are hardly seen by a dman his age.

All in all the Leafs are a very dynamic team that has to tighten it up in the PO’s like every team has to succeed. Therein lies the challenge. Don’t burn out Freddie & chances to go deep increase.
