Who the hell is Chris Driedger? I pay moderate attention to starting and backup goalies around the league and I have never heard of this guy. I'm sure the Pens are making him look like a Vezina candidate.

The team has not played well and yet only down by one. I like our chances with Jarry in net. I hope we don't start to press. Need to be patient and tighten up defensively. Opportunities will come.

I feel like our defense has played above their level and it's starting to show as they come back to normal. We had an average defense when healthy let alone with losing our #2 and #3 Dman

I was in Montreal and watched the game last night. A bunch of Pens fans were more nervous when Letang had the puck than the other team.

I agree... Letang has been the worst player on the ice for either team for 3 games in a row. He cost us 2 of the goals last night and could of cost us about 5 tonite

True. And with the offense talent missing, sustained offensive pressure and finishing are harder to come by.

He did cost us a goal by making a rookie mistake not sending the puck up the boards to the waiting forward and instead passed it to the top of the circle which led to the goal.

From the drop of the puck the Pens looked gassed. I guess that's to be expected when you don't even have 24hrs between starts. F'n stupid.

IMO, Letang's mistakes seemed mostly attributable to his TOI. He's not 26 anymore. If I'm Sully I might try to find a way to lessen the load. Not going to be easy.

They've been playing some guys more than Sully would probably like to limit the 3rd pair and 4th line. Maybe it's catching up.

They need to add a top 9, preferably top six winger.

So Addison was 3rd in points for team canada and I think 2nd for all dmen in the tourney. That’s very encouraging considering the pens haven’t had very many draft picks recently
