Hey #Canucks fans, who are we cheering for in the gold medal game at the #WorldJuniors tomorrow? πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ†šπŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί

On the one hand, Canada! πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦
On the other hand, Vasily Podkolzin! πŸ’ͺ

- manvanfan

For me, only one choice and that’s Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦, Podkolzin is already part of the Canucks organization win or lose.

I'd like Canada to win.

I'm already wrong that Canada wasn't going to get a medal. Decisions by other countries have affected my results conclusion. lots of bad coaching.

I think Hoglander has made a couple of bad decisions last couple of games

Well how about that.

Marky was dynamite!

Wait, I better relax. It's only October.

- boonerbuck

It will be a different Team Canada today vs the Russians. Gonna be a tight game probably OT.

Lol
Yeah. This team is different. Not the top of the league and reigning league leaders.

- dbot

They are in 13 th with games in hand. Not a top 5 team but I can see them as a top 15 team and that is an improvement over last year.

Just keep improving year to year and fans will be happy.

The improvements I expected are there so far. I'm still sticking to no PO's as so many things need to go our way for that to happen. But if they will their way in good on em. Injuries to key players will be key lol

I wonder which Russian team and which Canada team comes out.

Which goalie is Russia going to go with?

It's a (frank)ing log jam up in there. Divisional games are the big ticket, win most of those and there's a legit possibility of playoffs. Would love to see them make it in, would be a big boost for the young guys

Trap Trap Trap for both clubs I bet. Probably 2-1 or 3-2 OT.

Not sure on Russia's goalie...

I don't take this tournament serious enough . The year to year overkill makes me view it as display of prospects only.

I will say more than half the Canadian roster I don't know or have any affiliation with and they will be some other teams prospect in a year.

I use this tourney as a stage to see how our prospects play and if there are any future prospects I put on my wish list.

Sorry I am cheering for Pods today and hoping he silences his critics.

I am sticking with making them (96 pts) and winning one round.

True. Basically it boils down to the 10 games prior to the all-star break and the 10 games after. if we are .620% after the break it will be close close close

I was thinking a fast paced high scoring 5-4 type game.

If they can get a 2-3 spot and play a divisional team first might be the best way to win a round.

I pointed out yesterday if we go .500 hockey starting yesterdays game we end up with 90 pts.

I think we are better than .500
