It's probably the industry standard contract for a young 2nd pair defenseman. A few years ago it was 4M x 6, basically what Maatta and Dumoulin got. You hope the player improves like Dumoulin did instead of stagnate like Maatta.

Pettersson probably hasn't played as bad as many including myself think. His WOWY's with Marino are good for both. There's been some noticable mistakes though.

The biggest addition for our D corps would be a healthy Schultz back in the lineup. He's a really smart player. Hopefully he comes back strong and can be of good use.

While I agree he would help tremendously, I'm going to disagree about being the biggest addition... Dumo as a #2 would be greater in my opinion... The loss of him has hurt more to me... Letang lost his security blanket and his defensive gaffes have been exposed not having someone good enough to cover him.

Exactly, Ruhwedel is a fine extra defenseman, but not a top 6 guy. I'm nit the biggest Schultz fan, but that's a great 3rd pair defenseman.

Ducks are looking at anything because their window might be years down the road. They have a ton of decently talented young wingers, though maybe not many game breakers, and not enough spots which is why they had to waive Sprong.

Yeah, they want to keep Sprong up and are willing to trade a top wing for futures. Kase has also been rumored and some have speculated testing the market for Silverberg. Rackell makes sense though with 2 years left and opens the RH PP spot for Kase or Sprong.

He's declined the last couple years with Anaheim's centers decline to a 20 goal, 50 point guy. Still, more than Toffoli because of the extra years so a 1st or a top prospect plus. This might be a good spot for an Addison trade because a puck moving RH defenseman is known to be their top priority. Kase for Faulk being one of many moves they've tried.

If a team wanted to reset younger, I'd look into a Pettersson for an established LD swap, so long as he had term. Don't think GMJR will.

Just had chipotle because I had a 15 dollar gift card. Got the barbacoa and the steak with both beans, pico and salsa verde with a side of queso and that poop is wack. Some of the blandest food I’ve ever had.
