Eh, if you look at his advanced stats from his time with the Nucks his numbers are all in the positive, he's fine as a 3rd line scorer who would put up 30-40 points if healthy. It's irrelevant though as he likely never plays in Van again.

Baertschi doesn't kill penalties and is not great defensively. Not sure how he can help the team out, he was practically invisible on his brief call up. He sure did not look like a guy trying to save his pro career.

I agree it was a spanking, but one loss and you want to fire all the coaches? I would say Green is getting the most out of the players that he has.

To me he doesn't fit the Nucks roster because of the makeup of the roster, not because of his quality as a player. Just my opinion.

Personal opinion, and a season is much more than 8 games in succession. Green is over his head, a terrible coach and if he’s getting the most out of the players he has....well then this team will always be destined for mediocrity. The low, low end of mediocrity.

Buffalo just took Frolik's 4.3 cap hit. There's got to be a team that could afford him if he was any good. He forced his way out of Calgary and now he's done as an NHL player.

You have been consistent! Question though, which available coach would you hire? Do you think a different coach would of squeezed out more wins? As an example, if DeBoer cannot win with Sharks or Laviolette can't win with what he had with Preds, would he do any better with this cast?
