I do agree with him on starting to bring in some of the players from Utica.
I see no reason why Rafferty shouldn't get a look soon, maybe during the Buffalo game.
Would like to see someone brought in at forward, who will be a bit aggressive, maybe Lind, Jasek or Bailey?

Back in your day the 2 way center didn’t really exist did it ? - Redmile247
My best coach when I played had us all play C was 3rd man back. Also drop back when D moved up. Tbh it made sense to me & he wanted team players not individuals. I’d do it all again but also add more work on my skills & skating. Back then gear wasn’t exactly light & sticks were not not as whippy as today. |

3-2 Comets
8 minutes left in the third
Goldy with 2 goals Bailey with the other
Rafferty two assists , OJ and Lind with one - VANTEL
I think Goldy deserves a proper shot in the NHL, replacing LE in our top 6 |

From Comets Cory
3rd Star: Nikolay Goldobin. Goldy probably would have got my first star if not for his ill-timed penalty and indifferent play. He was floating at times today and coughed up a puck for a chance against, but he also scored two goals to give his team the win. That seems to be what we get with Goldobin. He can drive you nuts one minute and have you cheering the next. At the end of the day, he is now up to 13 goals and 17 assists to give himself 30 points in 31 games this season
Pass on Goldobin. |

Why Goldy over others?
Curious what he has done to do so. |

They are also the only ones that retire with a full rack of teeth. A byproduct of being smart enough to wear the proper gear to block shots.
I'm guessing a cherry picking centreman.

It’s always going to be about his indifferent play. He just doesn’t get it that to be called up & stay he cannot disappear nor slack off. If he cannot figure that out he will stay down.

The douche is bragging about a signing his GM made. The same GM that desperately traded for Lucic and now will likely lose a young asset in the expansion draft as a result. There is nothing more moronic than a Flames fan. They make oilers fans look smart lol - CanuckDon

Funny you say that cuz not really until playing open hockey at the North Shore Winter Club when buddy cross checked me in the mouth & broke 2 front teeth. Nothing but sticks gloves helmet & outside mouth guard & a cheap shot for no reason. There always was kids that thought they were special there. I found him clubbing one night years later & reminded him of it & dropped him on the spot. He even saw it coming. The one & only sucker punch i threw in my life. |

Great band if you're into that kind of music.
Check this one out if you like good punk rock. It reminds me of Flames fans.

Yikes, I always preferred squaring up. Even as a Goalie. Worst thing that happened to me is a Forward kicked me just above the knee as he was sliding into me. Had those old school Brown pads and his skate slid up and did some damage. Lots of blood, tried to get up and tell the trainer I was OK. I knew something was wrong when he pushed me back down and said, "You aren't going anywhere." 9 stitches. Nice battle scar over my knee.

Goalie gear in my day was horrible. My bud was a goalie & you had to be fearless & I thought shot blocking hurt 😂😂 |

Yes sir, I was always walking around with some sort of bruise. At least we had decent helmets by that time. By the time I hit Junior there was decent chest protection, but it still had holes. The generation before me, and the guys who coached me, were either maskless or wore those Jacque Plante pancakes. That took real balls. |

My bud wore the Plante mask...ouch
Blockers were ok
Glove was poop
Pads heavy & water logged easy
Chest protector was a joke.
FYI Plante was ridiculed by his coach for not being manly when wearing a mask. Talking about an idiot I’d say...coach you stand in for a practice or 2 without one. |

lol 6 years at 4.5 for 5 goals and 20 assists per season. Enjoy your version of Chris Tanev champ!

He’s just getting started and is very solid. This could be a Ellis contract in a few. |
