What an exciting game.

Why play Reilly instead of letting him heal?
No call ups that can play in the bigs?

Watching last nights game I started thinking (I know I know that’s usually a bad thing but...)

What if Keefe swapped Engvall with Kerfoot or Hyman?

Leaving either a

1: Engvall-Tavares-Nylander

Or

2: Engvall-Matthews-Marner

I wouldn’t mind seeing one of those two lines... and it still puts Kerfoot or Hyman with Spezza and Kapanen so the third line still remains strong.

Thoughts?

Solid game? Did you watch the game? Matthews got us that point. The rest were meh with lots of bad turnovers in our end. Freddy wasn’t great until that crazy overtime...

Tavares was bad.
Mitch was okay.
Willie was ‘meh’ with a few disappearing backcheck plays...
MARINCIN was throwing grenades around as usually and I have no idea why he is on this team...
(Edit: Rielly cannot pivot and turn in one direction...)

After Matthews, Engvall was good...

Gotta agree... after Matthews I think the 3rd line was good and did the job that one should expect a third line should do, Barrie and Dermott has decent games and Freddie finally remembered how to play goal in OT

I agree, I find the Tavares line easy to play against along the walls....lately.
JT’s missing Marner IMO

Yes it did, but I mostly use the other link I sent you - even better quality.
- I only use the Nic link for pre-/post game.

Yeah I think that’s what I’m leaning to as well

Flip Engvall and Kerfoot and see what happens... cause Engvall could fill the role of the board grinder and he has good enough hands to keep up to the talent of Tavares and Nylander

Well that fact that Marincin is in the lineup should tell you that our options are pretty limited.

with all the changes over the last few years you would think we wouldn’t have to watch Marty play... but here we are again... Marincin on the ‘shut down’ pair...

I don’t know why he is even in the league. Why not bring up one of the kids? What is there to lose giving them some experience.

Just can't get rid of him.

He is the new Polak, only much worse.
