If not, then there's absolutely no reason for one or both of them (Liljegren and Sandin) not to be playing in place of Marincin and Ceci.

Tavares was bad.
Mitch was okay.
Willie was ‘meh’ with a few disappearing backcheck plays...
MARINCIN was throwing grenades around as usually and I have no idea why he is on this team...

I agree, Tavares was bad, Mitch was so-so, Willie was lousy, the shootout attempt was garbage, Marincin was usual crap, Ceci was (for him) good, Matthews was outstanding, Andersen was lousy at the beginning but was fantastic in the third and in overtime. The power play was dreadful, much of it was on JT but shoot the (frank)en puck already - the bad backpasses - inside the (frank)en blueline get it the (frank) out and punish the opposing goalie with a couple of shots.

As far as JT is concerned, I think Marner needs to stay with Matthews. Need someone willing to set up JT. Nylander is a massive puckhog and needs to feed some passses to JT for the shot.

That's correct, but I'm pretty sure I've read that the heat transference from the floor being laid on top, even though there's insulation and stuff, softens the ice, and it doesn't have enough time to properly harden. It could be vice-versa as well (it gets too cold/hard because the air doesn't get to it; I can't remember) . . .It's something along those lines. Regardless, the floor covering the ice causes a poor effect if there's only one day in-between.
