AHL experience counts only if you have an nhl contract.

i.e., if you contract slides, it doesn't count.

Sandin and Liljegren are both already safe from the draft.

It's pretty funny - I do admire the cleverness of it.
But it was used... A LOT during playoffs last year. Gregory Campbell has not been with Bruins for quite some time. And pretty sure Florida never won a CUP.

I agree, I find the Tavares line easy to play against along the walls....lately.

what JT is missing is

1) sleep when playing in Toronto - he has been noticeably slower and sloppy because the kid isn't allowing him to sleep (I know I will be female doged at for complaining about this but its obvious)

2) doesn't have Hyman's grit to rely on

3) doesn't have's Marner's creativity - Nylander has some but not the same level

4) replace Kerfoot with Engvall in my opiniont

He said the Christmas break helped.

He could use some games off to get some therapy in...if pain is his problem which he said it is there are things that can be done to minimize it but it takes work.

Vatanen is a solid two way guy.

Moves the puck well and can defend the rush...something most of the Leafs D struggle in.

Yeah I miss Hainsey for that reason.

Any who if Petro doesn’t sign here I’d gun for Vatanen...let him see what it’s like to play here and build some relationships.

though, i think there are more complexities than that.

q.huges is exempt, and his deal didn't slide. some nuances there probably.
