It's pretty funny - I do admire the cleverness of it.
But it was used... A LOT during playoffs last year. Gregory Campbell has not been with Bruins for quite some time. And pretty sure Florida never won a CUP.

trade ceci and goat for Petry so the Habs can finanlly get the big #1 Center they been after - senstroll
I would do this deal easy - even throw in a sweetener, only problem is next year with re-signing Muzzin and maybe adding another veteran d-man that $5.5 million might get in the way

Solid game by JT last night. He had 2 assists... for WPG and was his normal self in OT. - niteislander
Can't win all 82, thanks for your post. Were you around after the Leafs shutout the Islanders 3-0? Most Islander fans had had fart breath from that one - did you inhale a few?

I am happy the Islanders were their usual selves for that game
So the Leafs are probably going to bring in 1 or 2 of these guys next year....With the core set and some nice depth pieces set for the next few years Dubas absolutely can trade a few prospects at the TDL.

what JT is missing is
1) sleep when playing in Toronto - he has been noticeably slower and sloppy because the kid isn't allowing him to sleep (I know I will be female doged at for complaining about this but its obvious)
2) doesn't have Hyman's grit to rely on
3) doesn't have's Marner's creativity - Nylander has some but not the same level
4) replace Kerfoot with Engvall in my opiniont

Tavares had one of his worst games as a leaf last night turning over pucks and missing assignments, and taking dumb penalties. And nylander was floating throughout that overtime, leaving his linemates out to dry. Was disappointing to see. - mykokes
I was watching the game with a buddy who is president of the Nylander Haterz Club - he was absolutely losing his mind in the OT.

It looked like most of the Leafs were gassed in the third period and overtime. Not sure if Keefe arranged a bag skate after the loss to the Oilers, but that's what it looked like. Maybe Nylander's groupies are keeping him up late. For me there's much more to love about Nylander than to hate. Great skater, skilled player, great shot, needs work on some areas mostly involving experience and maturity.
