yes.

i sorted it out. maybe you can too. but your tiny atrophied balls probably don't have long to recover.

you are over virtue signaling and currently breaking hockeybuzz rules over nothing. there was no poor taste joke made only a pointing out of a human who looks like another human who died in a plane crash on the other side of the planet.

With Matthews
- aminnes

Ok . . . but the numbers I cited are year to date, where Marner played a bunch with Tavares as well both at home and on the road.

The delineation here isn't that Marner was or wasn't making Tavares better or worse. The delineation here is that Tavares is far from the same player at home than he is on the road.

Having a new born at home may not be helping him rest like when he's on the road this year.

I think that's exactly it.

If it isn't, he has family or friend issues here at home that interfere with his concentration - that weren't an issue last year.

Er. Marner also plays when we're at home.

Plays with who at home?

Maybe Tavares just misses being an alternate captain?

I think LA would be able to get a better offer.

Bracco and a 2nd (probably in the 50 - 62 range) for $2m in cap space and Martinez?

Bracco is certainly expendable given our RW depth, and he has value given his potential and history. I don't know if he has that much value yet since he's unproven at the NHL level. That said, we got a much bigger fish in Muzzin for 2 unproven prospects and a late 1st from them. LA will also have cap space - especially if they do their rebuild right and just start unloading anyone who's a UFA, going to be a UFA in the next year or two, or over 30. They could do it right for Wright.

If $6m in cap space buys a 1st (Marleau), then $2m probably buys you a 2nd. Is Bracco equivalent to Martinez, or do you need to add?

LA took all three unproven players for Muzzin last year.

I don’t think you get young proven players for those types of players...if you are selling.

Muzzin>Martinez

Bracco is an interesting prospect. I think he has a value of a late 1st round pick.

I’m not saying teams are going to throw a late 1st at the leafs for Bracco...but in a buying deal a team may be more interested in Bracco because he is closer to the NHL but still has that shiny unpredictability with a high ceiling.

I think maybe the Leafs still add to that deal...but then the Kings have to add to make the contracts work.

If they throw in Clifford can the leafs throw in something extra ?

Martinez(50% retained)
Clifford
AHL Throw in

Bracco
Ceci
Timo
2nd

The leafs can add a 2021 pick too

Chris Johnston what a ball licker saying AM should be in the MVP convo.

Sure no doubt he’s a great player & scoring but that’s where it ends. This year has at least 5 players ahead of him.

McDavid
Carlson
Panarin
Pastrnak
MacKinnon

Nothing against AM but seriously now.

Why can’t Matthews be in the conversation with those players?

Impossible.

He’s a Leaf.

Pasternak has 1 more point than the next leading scorer on his team.

Matthews? 12
