Hank in net tomorrow in St. Louis #NYR

I don't want to mock mental health if he is really having issues, it just seems like that card was played as a way to save face. What I see with Lias is a kid that had no response when he got punched in the mouth. Everything was all gravy until he actually had to work for something and it didn't come easy.

He can't take getting mocked for falling over during the opening night ceremonies. Turned him into a soft marshmallow boy

I can't post much on twitter. It's one thing is he went to team management and said he had issues. From the sounds of it though, when he said it was the first anyone ever heard about it. I'm really not sure even if the mental health thing was real that management could have helped at the time.

I don't want to speculate what his issue is

That said JD is a known value with a very positive history in this league. Andersson is not.

JD says he is trying to reach out and wants to hear it from the player's mouth...Andersson is only communicating through an agent.

He can be part of the problem or be part of the solution and right now, from outside perspective, it looks like the former from all sides

what makes me laugh about the whole thing is Lias being upset about not being the #2 center behind Mika but also saying he can't play because of foot issues

Quinn said they want to get Georgiev “some games, too.” When pressed how he plans to do that, Quinn said, the Rangers “have 38 more games. He’ll be playing. The question is which ones.

smart move, when Hank gets rocked by the best team it will be easier just to go with Shesty

Because if he plays like he did last night most nights, I wouldn't care if he filleted a baby seal at center ice while wearing nothing but a maga hat and skates

Deep down Hank has to be pissed. He was a superstar and now coming back down to earth. I wonder does he take a month or so at the end of the year to figure out his last year? Does he want to be one of 3 if one does get traded before the season ends? How does a guy leave 8 million on the table. This is going to a tough decision and off season for the king. Like I said the off season is going to be interesting in many ways

Hank's total salary does drop down to 5.5 million next year and 1 million of that is a 1 million signing bonus on July 1st

so, basically next season he's at 4.5 mil base salary during the year

does he retire after getting that last bonus, or does he play the season out
