He has a NTC, doesn't he have to waive it for them expose him ? If so, the FLames could probably flip a mid round pick so they don't take him. Doubt they'd be all that interested in a 38 year old player anyway.

This is what the oil did when they brought in Lucic... could payoff or be an unmitigated disaster. Hard to justify trading someone you know and the team loves for someone you hope fits in |
