He didn't seem completely set on the first couple. Too much trust on the 1st. Fast decisions early though. Not really his fault tonight. - Load Management
Maybe they should play him more? |

I’ve had Stetcher in my doghouse for a long time. Nothing to lose calling up a D & give them a shot. - Nighthawk
We seem to be at the point where our depth has to show itself.

It’s simple to pressure Brock in to mistakes. Either over handles the puck or passes too late. Again make the safe play & not think you’re the master of playmaking. - Nighthawk
Every year the highest point guys always have the most giveaways because they’re trying to be creative, that’s normal. |

Saw the Huberdeau goal replay. Sure Tanev got faked out of his jock but Edler was square to the passer guarding the post & lost sight of his man. Poor. Just do his job. |

True but in Brocks case he is not the playmaker that he thinks he is & a liability on D especially. He has the benefit of the best linemates & situations. |

It is fairly normal, but, he is making a poor play almost every shift now. |

I don’t see that but I do see him trying to be more than simply a shooter. |

I’d like to know who on the team are students of the game & who only go to the video room to be there cuz it’s scheduled. |

He’s leading the Canucks in assists this year, yes he’s not great defensively because he’s an average skater but you guys are focused on the wrong things imo. The Canucks are terrible defensively, that’s their biggest issue and that comes from poor structure. |

Like Garret pointed out between intermissions, hard to blame the system when the forward just sucks at covering the point when covering for a pinching D. But overall I agree, Baumgartner should be the first one replaced (and soon). |

It’s run & gun, and fun to watch, but, if your goaltender’s not bailing you out constantly you’re not going to win many games. |

All fair points.
He still makes poor decisions, like refusing to try cycle the puck, instead of making poor passing attempts, he hasn't tried to improve his skating ability, nor has he tried to get better defensively, those are my concerns with with Brock, regardless of the garbage systems, Green uses. |

I don’t get how this conversation about Boeser can go on so long and nobody mentions how terrible Myers is in his own end.
Oh, and thanks Carol |

I don’t understand how Boeser has suddenly become a passer since Miller‘s arrival? Pettersson is way more skilled at the passing game, they need to utilize Boeser as a shooter. His game has definitely changed with the addition of Miller. Could be just a transitional period while they figure out who’s doing what, but they’ve been pretty successful offensively so far. |

Sums it up. Even more amplified when they miss grade A chances and then start chasing the game. BB alone in front and JV tap in fails to name a few. |

We need a field goal then recover an onside kick then pull Demko for a 6th attacker. |

They're lost. They're defending from the outside in. Even when they do collapse to the middle, they're horrendously late.

An even strength goal from the worst fourth line and all of hockey, a bit of a small miracle |
