Dermott is what interests me....

Not convinced he will be a Leaf past this year. He has potential but hasn’t gotten any better in a full year.

With the expansion draft coming up he could be in a package...Sandin and Liljegren can man the 3rd pairing and they are exempt.

he's actually pretty good at holding the puck in at the blueline.

well, both bluelines really. he has a knack for keeping it in play for the team trying to score in both the offensive and defensive zones.

I agree but if the leafs trade for a D with term I wouldn’t be shocked to see him in the package.
