I wouldn't mind getting a look at Bailey and Rafferty soon and Lind Jasek for a look later in the season.(Maybe Brisebois and Juolevi, as well) |

I think Bailey and Rafferty deserve a look . Jasek and Lind too early IMO.
Not sure if OJ has earned it . |

I predict that OJ will make his debut when the team is eliminated from playoff contention, later in the season. |

Since that was the first time i've seen them all against each other in competition. OJ is still the best skater, passer, and has the highest IQ. Smartest defender.
He just seems hesitant and not willing to fully engage most of the time. Timid you could say. He's not small and showed he could push people off the puck. Just doesn't seem to do it.
That was a knock on Brisebois but he seems to have shaken that off pretty good. |

The NHL has blessed with me a bunch of new stats to look at on their pages. Beagle and Schaller in bottom 50 in the league for even strength goal differential against.
Taylor Hall and Phil Kessel are also in top 50. |

This seem to sum it up but I don't think Timid and not willing to engage works well in the NHL.

Maybe OJ is playing it safe in the physical department because of all the injuries has him behind on his development. Probably wants to get through the season and then take the next step at Canuck training camp. |

Yeah I think Canucks are looking for players that are playing it safe.

Reid Boucher is currently first in AHL scoring...Brogan Rafferty is 12th. Nikolay Goldobin is 14th, Kole Lind is 15th and Sven Baertschi is 16th...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lind reminds me of Burrows in his first year with the Canucks.
Comets are in first in the North division. |

I haven't seen a lot of other teams but its hard for me to not look at that and say that they are the best team in the league.

He does have time. Some games he plays better than others. He still makes some major blunders like everyone else. He will get there eventually but I think fans saying in the next twenty games he should get a call up are making a mistake.
Comets are a top 10 team in the league. There are some good teams in the Atlantic and other teams in the Central that we haven't played yet. I don't remember playing any Pacific division teams. Definitely top 10 though.
The team you watched them beat tonight are in last place in the division and third worst in the league. |

Just read the article from Johnston about his interview with Benning.
The new asst GM was hired so Benning and Wiesbrod could go out and do more scouting.
They should let Brackett do his job. |

They promoted/ renamed the position for this guy who has been with the organization for a few years.
Benning likes to get out and check on player development and potential draft picks, just like he did with Elias. |

How was Lind at centre, from a few hi-lites I saw, he looked fairly decent in that position. |

Him Bailey and Goldy are a very good trio. Putting up a lot of points. He is a good play maker . I haven't paid attention to his face off details.
He will be a winger. He is just filling in a C . |
