M. Tkachuk should be the one getting the hearing for taking a healthy run at a defenceless player and the principle point of contact being Kassian's head on the last one.

He took four healthy strides and targeted him, I love hitting but there's a fine line with head trauma being such a hot button these days in contact sports. Raffi Torres wouldn't been suspended immediately for that.

I thought the punishment fit the crime last night. No need to rehash it in the NHL office.

Every team in the Pacific are really inconsistent, nice to see the cali teams taking up the bottom 3 though.
- Bettmanhatesus

Outside of a couple teams in the nhl the entire league is inconsistent...it’s the parody I guess.

That was in the 2nd last sentence of the response dumbass

BTW...I wasn't defending Kassian, just saying what Tkachuk did was borderline with the NHL trying to protect players from head trauma. I have no issues with what Kassian did afterwards, if the NHL won't protect the players they police themselves. I love Tkachuk, he's a great player, but he crosses the line every now and again like a few of our players in the past have been guilty of.

Agree – Tkachuk's hit was charging, should have got a penalty for it. Those are the "borderline" hits they need to start making more calls on. Tkachuk's a wussy and deserves to get his smirk beat down his throat, but he did his "job" and helped his team win.

Very solid player at his price. Underrated & helps any team not named NJD.

So you use head trauma in your arguement, yet see no issues with punching a guy repeatedly in the back of the head....and I’m the dumbass πŸ˜‰πŸ˜πŸ˜

Oilers have 2 stars and more holes than the Canucks ...would you rather the Canucks D and goaltending or the oilers ?

Oil will fade

- Redmile247

Disagree. It would have happened by now. Tippett will get them in.
