Tonight in his second appearance he shut the door on a 30 save shutout! 👍

We knew at the beginning of the season EP and QH bonus max was 3.5 mil. The ASG has no bearing on that.

Freidman stated about 3 weeks ago that the NHL will probably carry a Cap of 85 mil which is an increase of 3.5 mil. The increase will eliminate the bonuses or close to it.

Here's a question I will put out there, if Jake scores 3 more goals before TDL and you can move him for a first round pick or very high prospect , would you move him?

Things change. Cap can alter before seasons end & carry over mitigated or at least some.

No. We need him. It's a tough style to play. A draft pick is a backwards move because you have to have to develop. Nobody is parting with a good enough prospect to get him.

No.....feck no. The guy's gonna have severe PTSD from playing for Torts.

Depends on the value right? I just can't see where there's an offer for another prospect at his price that would justify the move. Tough to pull any trigger until you know the pieces in play.

He’s our 5th or 6th best forward 3rd line or not. Collected an NHL salary from day 1 only cuz we were sad sack. Has no control of where he could be traded to. Late 1st rounder lucky to be a 2nd liner after developing. If traded it’s a hockey trade imo.

Not that simple. If he has arbitration rights and scored 20 plus goals he could be awarded 4 mil or more. I like Jake but there is no way I want to pay him 4 mil.

Let him try to reach 20 first though. That isn't going to hurt his value league wide.
