You need to be more clear.

Funny coincidence that the Leafs have been playing like sh1t since Marincin has been put back in the line up.
Besides that piece of sh1t, we need a real back up for the nights Freddy sucks. It happens to all #1Gs...occasionally they have a bad night.
We need Muzz back, and one more D like him or better. One that plays D and hits.
We need at least one physical winger who can actually play F, is good in his own end and HITS.
Somebody on this fu3king team needs to hit. There is never any rush or concern to move the puck when you play the Leafs...ever. The other team knows if they can avoid the flyby stick check that they have all the time the want to make a play.
I know some of you guys don't think hits matter but you're all WRONG and....well...like doodoo heads...err something. - underhill14

I would think losing Muzzin to injury and having your 7th D come in would make your team worse, yes. - Santo_44
Yep, when I was back reading I didn't see too much blame out there for our injured D.
Muzzin
Reilly
Two of the only real defensive D men we have are out...pretty much, I know Reilly is in but he has not been himself, can't break the cycle to save his life.
It's pretty basic really,
Anders10n is back. = Loses
Injured D = Loses
Hutch shouldn't be in the NHL = Loses
Marincin shouldn't be in the NHL = Loses

Well TDL time Hutch will either be gone or on the Marlies and Marincin will be the 8th D.
Hopefully Muzz is back in a month.
Andersen should bounce back he usually does. |

Always is. For most teams.
There are still moves that can be made. |

I don't hate Marincin as much as everyone else.
Come playoff time when development doesn't matter both Sandin/Liljergen are ahead of him.
He isn't worse than other teams 8th and 9th D.
Sandin and Lil are both killing it right now and it wont be long before they start seeing some NHL ice. |

I would love to add a top D
but we have to remember we have a top 4 d out with a broken foot right now...imagine adding him, an outside top 4 d and possibly Sandin/Lil.

(frank) man, enough with the you know it all and you're always right routine. It's pretty tiring.
If you know as much about hockey as you think you do then why aren't you employed as a coach/GM/or executive by the NHL? |

Cap management a problem? - Nighthawk
I'd say so:
Loui Eriksson $6 M
Antoine Roussell $3 M
Jay Beagle $3 M
Brandon Sutter $4.375M
Sven Baertschi $2.291 M
Ryan Spooner $1.033 M
Roberto Luongo $3.033 M
= $22.732 Millon of PURE

I'm not worried about the cap, a single trade can fix our cap issue. It's up to Dubas and management to figure out the cap.

A lot of teams are going to have troubles making trades due to LTIR and the cap.
The media makes it out to be just the Leafs...but look at the Leafs yearly playoff opponent in the Bruins.
But the media pegs them at trading for every TDL target.
Ceci is the key here...if there is a package another team likes from the Leafs they won't have a problem of taking a 4.6 mil cap hit for 2 months to make it happen.
a Kap/Ceci trade relieves 8 million in cap hits. |
