Alright you degenerate Leaf trade proposal guru’s what do you got?
- Santo_44
Nothing as the Leafs really can't make a trade without sending something of importance out and over pay for help. |

The Leafs now know what so many other NHL teams are going through with injuries this season. Now lets see how the Leafs aforementioned great depth comes in to play. - islansjet

Sources are telling me it’s a young roster player (forward), an NHL ready forward prospect and a pick for both TDA and Georgiev. S4
Kapanen+Bracco+2021 2nd for TDA+Georgiev? Stay tune for more. |

Right, but you're missing the point..
UFA trades and RFA trades are not the same.. If we trade for an RFA, we own that players rights.. Why give up an asset or two to get that RFA player and then trade him? You may not get an equal or better return. - PatC80
The plan is not to trade him.............
The plan is to re sign him but if it doesn't work out you can re coup some assets. |

He doesn't like giving up assets for a player that is only going to play 2 months.
It is very fair. Look at RFA's and players with term. - Santo_44
I get he doesn't 'like' it. But if it's a question of Marincin or a UFA you do what has to be done. Guys on term are few and far between in terms of mid-late season trades. Muzzin was an exception. All I'm saying is he should keep his options open. They are 2 points in a playoff spot. |

That it does.
If the deal includes Kap, it makes more sense from a Leafs standpoint.
If it was a equal money in-money out trade, we would have to move money in the off-season to re-sign one, or both. |

Wait, are you guys talking about Tony D'Angleo? It's going to take more than Kap and Bracco to get him, let alone him and George. |

He needed to rest for bit anyway.
Not 8 weeks.....but what can you do.
When the hell is Muzzin back....we've really missed him. - Fakepartofme
Reilly will be rested for the playoffs.....LTIR him, and glorious CAP space to add depth. Bring Reilly back for the playoffs and there is no CAP. So you can have Reilly, and whoever you add. This could be the BREAK the Leafs needed!!!! |

He’s also signed already. 2 more years at 3.2, then he’s a RFA. He has a lot of value. So does TDA. |

I think Kap for TDA straight up would be fair.
That same dude rips Barrie for having no value. |

Yep would be a fair trade.
Does adding Gerogiev and Bracco and another good piece make it fair? I'd say it is close. |
