I know the Black Cocks had cap issues but man I bet they wish they'd kept him lol - LordHumungous
Rare player that got away.
Ramifications if we could sign him then we couldn’t sign sign Myers Ferland & Benn for $11.5m. We could’ve lived with that. The D would be pretty blah but then again the farm is looking solid & somene would’ve made the team. Hindsight & wishes 😂😂
Forced a trade of a contract out aaah
Looking at the teams lines & production this season some players would’ve been impacted huge. Pearson bumped to 3rd line for example & Bo & he have had great chemistry. The 4th line gets better.
JTM Petey Boeser
Panarin Bo LE
Pearson Gaudette JV
Motte Beagle Roussel
Hughes Tanev
Edler Stetcher
Fantenberg Rafferty
Back then ppl said too early to go for it & here we are going for it anyways. Still I love how we are trending. JB’s rock lol |

On another note the breadman would’ve forced LE to produce. Think on that. |

He hasn't started regressing yet, for the first 2 or 3 years it looks fine, it'll hurt after that but they will be past their window anyways. |

Cuz even NB couldn’t stifle his creativity. PP2 would be vastly more scary. |

What ifs win cups - VANTEL
Lol I use what ifs for future ideas to be one more idea to improve. That said it didn’t & wasn’t gonna happen. In the present scoring is not an issue it’s team D that tops the list to be tightened up. Better break out & passing execution is ongoing. The D still needs to produce offence to keep scoring dynamics at a high level. Lastly going through injuries our depth has held up well but there is more there to give. |

At the time many ppl said we were not ready for Panarin & stay the course & keep building. Well the JTM trade has fast tracked the rebuild & the PO push is on. In hindsight Panarin would’ve been a great add but we are doing fine as is. In the end it’s the prospects where most of my concentration is on to feed the team long term. |

It's fantasy.
What is real is the team we have and the prospects that that will be here. Trades can happen but I think mostly Jim has assembled the team he wants.
There is 6 prospects that I expect to be playing here in the next two years and I think with Petey and Hughes it will be a winning team.
I think big name hunting in Free Agency is over. |

I agree totally. D will be the biggest area to improve. Hoping the prospects are the answer while we draft more of them & develop.
