I agree totally. D will be the biggest area to improve. Hoping the prospects are the answer while we draft more of them & develop.

I think Rafferty could step in tomorrow just like Fantenberg did. They looked great together in Utica. There will be mistakes but I see mistakes with Edler and Myers also. It took years for Edler t become Edler so expect the same with OJ Rafferty and Briesbois.


I see fans sometimes rag on our current D but I like it. I think they are not as bad as some people say. Yes they screwed up in Fla but the next two games they held the other team to 3 goals.

We are getting to the point of bursting with good prospects. Trader Jim will be in his glory, if still here, in the upcoming years.

Coaches will be highly pressured to get results. If they fail & that’s pretty possible the next coach is gifted a lot of talent. Crucial exciting times are upon us.

I know I am crazy but I like Fantenberg. I think Hughes is our top guy when Edler leaves . I also would still look at Edler at the end of his contract and see if he can go another two.
