Anyone else think the Towes Kuznetsov like celebration after his goal might have pissed the Caps off...? - Wario
Might have. |

Biggest mistake we made was not keeping Lehner! Varly is a complete joke. Team is in need of Skilled players that can skate. Nelson and Lee are dinosaurs in slow motion. These two losses back to back may mean the end for this soft bunch. - LItransplant44
Yeah I agree if Lehner was in net the Islanders wouldnt have turned over the puck. |

Josh bailey is completely incapable of making a safe, easy, play. “He’s such a cerebral hockey player.” |

How many coaches now have been brainwashed by Bailey? |

This team is simply devoid of high end talent. They have to outwork and outhustle the opponent for 60 minutes just to have a chance to win most games. If this team collapses and misses the playoffs, maybe it's for the best in the long run. Win the lottery like the Devils and Rangers manage to do, and draft some real talent. |

Islanders overall were terrible but he’ll be a back up again within a month just like he was with Colorado. Guy is not good. |

Sad to say it might be the best thing John. Time to wake up and understand this roster is not winning anything. Maybe a rebuild was the way to go after JT left? |

If Lehner was in net we would have 5 more wins this season easily. |

I think the thing with Bailey that drives me nuts is he has elite skills but lacks elite attitude. You have to be a bit cocky and aggressive to do they things some star offensive players do. Bailey will go silent for games, then suddenly pull off a dangle that brings people out of their seats and then goes back to vanilla again. He's so mechanized to be a safe possession player, he holds himself back from being a real threat. |

Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Islanders have played a poop stretch of hockey for sure, but let’s calm our tits somewhat. |

Sorry schwein. I've watched enough hockey to know when a team does not have a serious Cup winning roster. |

Same for Eberle as well and some of the other players. You cannot just hire Barry and Lou. The roster needs to be fixed and has not been addressed for two years. |

He just can’t make a save when he needs too. Bottom line. Two of the goals were from just inside the blue line unscreened. Yeah they were turnovers but he needs to be able to stop something😂😂😂😂
An .828 save% is awesome😂 |

It's who he's always been. His ability has never been the issue. Who knows, maybe his "high hockey IQ" will make him a great coach some day, but it's not making him a great player. |

No offence Ses, but maybe 5 teams (if that) have what could honestly be viewed as a Cup winning roster. It’s not that unusual. |

I do think it’s time to give Greiss more starts. If for no more reason than to motivate Varlamov. |

And most of those teams don’t win the Cup. |
