its not like they were coming off a strong year anyway. their regular season was mediocre and they collapsed in that SJ series. i would also imagine it's probably as much about de Boer as it is Gallant. they saw an upgrade available and they went for it.

also SJ did make a move--they fired de Boer

So, who said Habs shouldn't have traded him? Everyone knew he was 1 concussion away from being a vegetable...

He's been playing too much this year. Maybe his stats would be a bit better otherwise.

Yeah, I like him but Bergevin had to make that trade.

Should have done the same with Byron.

Perhaps. Not to beat a dead horse, but with a 10.5 mil salary you'd think he'd be able to take the load (no code)

Still don't understand why they sent Primeau back down

If they still have hope to make the playoffs, they should start Price all games until the break.

It's mostly a 2 goalies league now.

At least you could argue that they are not using that cap space, anyway.

He could be splitting games with Carré instead of Kinkaids

At this point they have as much chance of winning with or without Price...his numbers aren't that great.

Good point on the radio (for once), Gallant was teamate with Stevie Y in Detroit, don't see Blashill hanging around for long.

Very sad but the concussion history is probably why we traded him when his stock was high...that's why i was on board with that move. That being said, I do hope he's able to come back

See, that is where they are wrong.

The point is, he's not very good when he plays that much.
