Honestly, I do get it. But, I often find the inane chatter often leads back to the greatest game. Even if it isn't always related, just having the people around and actually chatting here is good. It can be deader than a zombie convention here at times.

I agree. When we do talk hockey, we know our poop. I don't always understand a lot of the French stuff, because as soon as I moved out of Quebec to Ontario, man, I ditched the French asap. I regret that to this day, IMHO. But I understand it's part of what makes this comment section unique, and different from the other sections on the site. So, if you want to tune out the parts you deem irrelevant, then you do you, brother. You'll always be welcome to join in the conversation, if you choose to.
