Good to see Robertson and Sandin aren’t greedy
Also (frank) Georgeiv if he’s going to cost that much.
Let someone else overpay for him. - Santo_44
Rangers aren't in the best negotiating position. All the teams know they are higher on the younger prospect and need to move someone. Goalies just don't fetch that much unless it's Raycroft. |

Ya but how is Joe Colborne doing? The one that got away... - BestRapperAlive
He’s been suffering from PCS for a year now.
He can’t even get on the ice right now. It’s sad. |

Remember when John Tavares scored 47 goals without playing with Marner? - aminnes
Remember when Tavares was the guy making Marner hit career highs and not the other way around? I don't |

They probably want to move Hank but if he says no they have no choice.
It’s great and all if NY is high on Georgiev but if they don’t drop the asking price they will have to roll with 3 goalies. |

Yeah I read an athletic article on him in the fall.
Really poopty but last I heard from him he’s getting better which is good to hear.
But he will never play hockey again. |

I don't think Hank wants to go and I personally think they are better off moving Georgiev because at least if the other guy struggles they have Hank. Who can weather the storm of the media and losses. |

Yeah but you want to keep both since they both have potential.
They don't want a Rask/Pogge situation. |

I wanted so bad for that guy to work out in Toronto.
On paper, he was exactly what we needed.
I distinctly remember going to his last game in a Leafs uniform - it was a preseason game. He needed to show something.
He showed nothing, other than a horrendous gaffe that lead to a goal.
We traded him for peanuts a day or two later, and I never looked back. He was never going to work out here. |

I still wonder how we got a 1st and him for a rental.
Seemed like a good kid and I was hoping he would work out too. The Leafs used to be a horrible place to play for prospects.
Now they bring up a young kid and its almost like they know they are going to succeed. |

If we want to be really hard to deal with, you can threaten to give the Rangers all the players listed.. That'll show 'em.

We also got a 1st and a 2nd. With colborne himself being a 1st, we got "2 firsts and a 2nd!" for Kaberle, after years of everyone telling us he was worth a bagel and a double-double.
Obviously they would do it again, since he helped them win the Cup. Anyone remember who those picks were? |

We traded the 30th and our 39th for the 22nd who was Tyler Biggs. The other picks were Rackell and John Gibson.
We traded the 54th pick to Colorado for John Michael Liles. The pick didn't pan out, but in the glorious laws of diminishing returns, we traded Liles for Tim Gleason and probably a swift kick in the nads. |
