JB signing Roussel & Ferland addressed the grit quotient needed even though Ferland is on the shelf. Young talent is great but need players to do the nitty gritty dirty work.

I can cede to that a little bit but JT’s contract is often ignored & his versatility underrated. You can bet JT had a lot of interest.

As people have pointed out , JTM had a no trade clause that would of limited the teams available to trade to, about to kick in , so GMJB was also limited and wanted and believed Miller was a good add, sometimes you pay fair-value and accept it
