Rakell is solid top 6 and just may be movable. I'm not going all in on him like I would Trocheck, but he's a good player. - TheSabresTaco

Galchenyuk has primarily received 3rd line minutes over his career, not top 6. This year he is getting 4th line minutes playing with Lafferty and Kahun and is still on pace to get 36 points.
He's a center that keeps getting moved forced to wing due to the teams needs.
Over his career his average for 82 games is 20g 25a, while playing just over 15 minutes a night.
We would have no need for that kind of trash here. |

I remember being upset that Montreal got him in the draft. |

I would go the Cirelli route myself. Wait till the offseason to make a move. Our salary cap space will be an asset at that point and perhaps the demand for RHD will be at that time too. - Pegullaville
Get a feel for what his contract demands are and see if Tampa would rather keep him or ship him for non salary assets. I'd definitely put him on my target list. |

Not judging, but I would go the Jennifer Lawrence route myself. |

Then grab Killorn, Palat, or Johnson on the cheap then to fill one of the top 9 roles we need to fill.
The Lightning won’t be the only ones on trouble either.
Leafs have to move one of Johnsson/Kapanen or both.
Other teams will be at the cap, especially some of the teams that will have RFA’s to pay this offseason.
We don’t gain anything by making a trade now. Let the chips fall where they may. - Pegullaville
Is this not the exact same thing we thought last summer? |

Where did all this Trocheck talk come from. - SABRES 89
Well, some people want Bonino, or Zajac, or Henrique, and they're all respective garbage.
I brought up Trocheck, numerous times, because he's not garbage and checks all the boxes. And I want the Sabres to spend good assets to get him. And I want a pony. |

They never had a shot at him, and that draft was incredibly disappointing overall. |

Couple pages back. Seems folks think he's disappointing and might not be worth the next contract.
I say, (frank) that, he's good, because he can pair with almost anyone on this team and the pairing becomes pretty good. |

I think the question comes down to whether or not you feel this season is still salvageable. If so, you make a trade now, and understand you have to give up something that hurts. If not, you're better off standing pat or dumping dead weight for any asset you can get. - buffalofan19
This season is done. |
