Really, your argument is that we're trading a defenseman? And although he's not going to light the lamp regularly, Reaves has as many goals as Vesey and Okposo and more than Larsson, Mitts and ERod.
We wouldn't be bringing him in to score, but to protect our scorers. He's also played in the playoffs every year he's been in the league and in 10 playoff games last year had as many goals as ERod has had in the last 37 regular season games.

He has matured tremendously this year. Whether that's a natural progression of age, or the light just turned on, we'll probably never know, but there's a noticeable difference, and not just in the point total either.

They are looking for a bottom 6 forward or pick, so I don't think Bogo is the answer. My proposal is Sheary and ERod to balance the salaries. Sheary won two Cups there and played with many of the guys still there. ERod wants out and they could see if he can produce with Crosby like so many less talented players have, or just send him down.

I've read that DeBoer and Reaves really hate each other. Vegas also has been looking for D help. I would offer McCabe for Reaves straight up. Salaries are nearly equal. If you can work a bigger trade to get Tuch, even better. If Reaves doesn't work out or doesn't seem like he wants to re-sign, I think he would fetch more at the deadline than McCabe would.

He did a free show around here one year. I think he had some kind of jazz album out or something that he was promoting. Played mostly that if I remember correctly. People didn't know what was going on and he mostly got booed. Then he got pissed and started talking back to the crowd. Whole thing was terrible to watch and kind of embarrassing.
