I'm not, at all, saying the Leafs have a great defense. What I am saying is that, no, a 24 year-old AHL rookie d-man cannot make the Leafs. Even if he did right now, he wouldn't long term. So it would be an absolute waste of a trade-chip prospect using them on him.

RHD Tanev Myers Stetcher have all been healthy & no problem letting Rafferty develop in the AHL. There is no room on that stellar D corp in Hogtown even with his ELC.

That demand makes sense. He’s better than Muzzin AND(!) he’s a righty.
