You know Bergevin won't make any meaningful trade...

Soon he'll have the 4th round picks of all the league in next year's draft.
- BashCH

Yes he's stock pilling them but they can be used in lots of ways, it's not a bad thing... obviously it would be much better if he had that many 1st

I think he'll do about the same thing as last year... (close to nothing)

Nobody said they were building around him, what he brings will be extremely useful when the team start taking steps forward
- obie

yup, and getting rid of him would also mean getting rid of one of very few players on that roster who has a bit of grit

He’s the only asset you have that can bring you something with star potential, all the other players aren’t good enough or have bad contracts

Exactly, I would keep him around for sure, you can always work with him to chill out a bit, especially at the wrong times in a game

As if

Tatar, Drouin, Petry & Chiarot would all bring back nice assets to strengthen the core that is coming

Can even add Gallagher and Danault to that list but I wouldn't recommend trading either

they need a few more very high end prospects that are usually found in the top 10 or top 5 if possible, building from the 12-18 spot in not ideal, it's a long vicious cycle

Meh Gallagher has grit, all the abuse he takes in front of the net.

Domi is a bum that flips out at anyone who touches him and often ends up being the only one in the box. Man the (frank) up and take it like a man once in a while

like Carbo said....take a look, take their number, you will get your chance, pick your place and time and make sure it hurts but don't hurt your team

They would bring at best a first pick and b prospect or a second round, and that’s from a playoff team so likely a late pick

What pisses me is when they trade a 2nd round pick for a 3rd and a 4th rounder...Really? You think that you are that much smarter than the other teams and that the guys you want will still be there a round or two later?

Gallagher is already overused (just like you do to Noah in your dreams), he needs help on that front

But I agree Domi needs to chillax a bit

last year when they passed on Robertson

I'd rather they have 4 picks in the top 2 rounds than 9 and most in the late rounds.
