In the UK we were drinking Beefeater Blood Orange flavoured gin.

Pretty f’in good in a martini.

Hmmm will have to try it. I picked up a weird Tanqueray one time in Montreal that I've never seen in the LCBO. It was pretty good. They have a nice weird selection at the SAQ.

subtle notes of orange zest or apricot is fine, but when it's "flavored" it's not beer anymore imo.. Reminds me of Tornade

Yeah and even if it's still SAQ, they probably have more selection in Montreal than in Gatineau, there's a bunch of different Bombay gins that aren't available here
