I was at the Bell Centre last night, one of the most boring games I got to witness. They were flat...I think the shots were pretty equal, but I don't think Crawford had to make a difficult save last night.

All shots in the belly, or no angle far side shots. I was pissed and I didn't even paid for the tickets.

They give an horrible show, especially for the price they sell those tickets for.

Didn't see the game at all, but just from the comments and game recap it pisses me off as well. But as Bash mentioned, last night was an "anomaly" this season, since they usually at least give some kind of effort and show a bit of passion

last year performance brought unrealistic expectations for this year, with all the injuries and not having everything going their way, they get a much better idea of the talent and depth challenges they still have. The problem is MB and his team bought the BS story they've been telling us for a few years, no major change coming. Rinse and repeat and pray the young guys turn out to be better than forecasted.

yeah, I guess you're right... it just sucks that they didn't show up for an "important" game like last night... not having a proper backup goalie really killed them
- Pat1993

Why isn't Primeau up if we really need a win? He's the only backup that has seemed competent in net for the Habs. We hear so much complaining about not getting enough wins from the backups, but then they don't even play the backup that's played the best.

It's a shame because for once, they are doing things properly...Instead of throwing pics away, they draft and develop...but with the major injuries they have, they don't have the depth yet to get out of it.

Kotkaniemi, Poehling, Suzuki...these guys are the future but they aren't ready yet to pull that team out of it, and when you have a guy like Domi, who should be leading the way, playing like an idiot like last night...They are going to end in lottery pick territory for sure.

Primeau is 20 years old. It's his first pro season. Let him develop in peace in the AHL. It would be a mistake to bring him over as a backup, where he'll warm the bench most nights. It wouldn't be fair to bring him up and ask him to fix this mess.
