bottle up weiser (maybe double or triple team him) and stay out of the box because weal is on the habs PP and maybe.. just maybe.. the flyers can keep this thing close until the end and see if they can pull it out like a panicked jugger when he finally lays the wood to his girlfriend. |

Why isn't Primeau up if we really need a win? He's the only backup that has seemed competent in net for the Habs. We hear so much complaining about not getting enough wins from the backups, but then they don't even play the backup that's played the best. - ChrisGoalie39
i like how they chose last night to concern themselves with Price's workload, with Price putting up his best b2b performances of the year and the bye week and AS break coming up and being down to the last burning embers of playoff possibility.
when he poop his pants in Tampa they threw him right back in the next night to poop his pants again. |

Primeau is 20 years old. It's his first pro season. Let him develop in peace in the AHL. It would be a mistake to bring him over as a backup, where he'll warm the bench most nights. It wouldn't be fair to bring him up and ask him to fix this mess. - stinger67
Thats's such a bullpoop argument, he has goaled 19 games in the AHL he's going to finish with less games then when he was in college.
Lindgren-Kinkaid have goaled 23 combined. Player devloppement at it's best right here again. |

last year performance brought unrealistic expectations for this year, with all the injuries and not having everything going their way, they get a much better idea of the talent and depth challenges they still have. The problem is MB and his team bought the BS story they've been telling us for a few years, no major change coming. Rinse and repeat and pray the young guys turn out to be better than forecasted. - Symba007
I think they put one face to the public and another in private.
They are keeping their picks now, no longer trading them away for rentals. They have been focusing on the future in the last 2 years.
Don't forget that they need to put some butts in the seats. Playoffs are not a must, but it seems that they are afraid to say it out loud. |

I'm also surprised Weal-Cousins-Lehkonen didn't score on the powerplay. Thought for sure that combination would produce. |

Poehling would be in the ECHL if he tried something like that, but weal should get a bump on the second line. |

He's splitting games with Lindgren and Kinkaid in the AHL. What's the big deal if he comes up and plays 1 every once in a while in the NHL. He showed he could handle it. Plus, if it's not enough playing time you're worried about, then they could just play him more? Like a 60/40 or 70/30 ratio. The Habs rely way too much on Carey Price and seriously need to take a page out of the Bruins book. This team would get much better performance out of their backups if they played them more and more out of Price if they played him less. |

It's a shame because for once, they are doing things properly...Instead of throwing pics away, they draft and develop...but with the major injuries they have, they don't have the depth yet to get out of it.
Kotkaniemi, Poehling, Suzuki...these guys are the future but they aren't ready yet to pull that team out of it, and when you have a guy like Domi, who should be leading the way, playing like an idiot like last night...They are going to end in lottery pick territory for sure. - stinger67
Domi bought into his own hype. |

My point is that the fanbase here are always looking for the "savior". Especially in net, you can't treat this franchise like any other because of the history. I don't think Lindgren is the problem yesterday to be honest. |

well their attendance is bleeding. i was at a game in December. got tickets under face value and the entire row next to me was empty. there were similar scenes throughout the arena. i havent seen that since 2000-ish. |

i played a game last weekend while drinking a few bottles of pinot noir.
it was called "fake news", which is awesome. they make the graphics on the cards look like all the news stations.
anyway, it was a pretty fun game. and i won! |

Don't ride him when he's hot, don't want him to get injured. But definitely ride him when he's cold, don't want him to sulk on the bench. |

you can't really count on the flyers for anything. they're pretty much a middle-of-the-league team right now. |
