That’s reasonable. It’s nice that he’s topped his points totals each year. But he ain’t Leon, nor will he ever be. And that you had that guy pegged must be sorta frustrating to watch him excel and put “what if” scenarios into your brain.

Speaking of Germans, thoughts on Stutzle? Button had him ranked at 2 recently, ahead of Byfield. Crazy?

More of a playmaker then a shooter but has great speed for his size. In all likelihood should be a top 5 pick.

Honestly does it even matter where either are drafted at this point? I want good players, I could care less if all are college UDFAs. They are what they are and Sam is a legit first line talent and Olofsson is borderline currently. There’s like maybe a handful of guys from Sam’a class that are better then him, and he’s steadily catching and passing most in front. It is what it is and he’s a good player that you keep if the dollars aren’t stupid

I forgot all the time that he got on the second line. Sounds like a coaching issue. There are plenty of teams that don’t split up duos because they work. Getz/Perry, guentzel/Crosby, OV/backstrum just to name a few. Very rarely are these guys not playing with a completely different line. But Sam can’t do it so he sucks

Because he’s been a good first liner and currently sitting as a top half first line and we female dog because he isn’t more. I get it, not choosing Drai sucks but Sam isn’t some third liner that’s barely hanging on

Where in any post does it say Sam sucks, funny how you guys like to add this to make it look better. It's called helping your team, especially when VO and Eichel started clicking. Rhino came into the draft as a playmaker, just maybe he could have gotten Skinner going.
