I get what you are saying and I know you are pretty observant so I am not sure how you can't say he hasn't been that reliable as that line with both him and Schaller gets hemmed in their own zone a lot and struggle to create chances at all. I feel like he's a useful player who could benefit from a reset in the press box.

Trade Tuna while he is in favour. I am not sure I have seen a player actually stand around more on the ice than JV. He gets away with it as he can accelerate and is fast, but too bad he can't move around like anyone on the 649 line (RIP). The elbow was cheap and Winnipeg got fired up. Perrault should have dropped the mitts though - JV is a turtle in disguise.
I say this is the inflection point of the season.
If we win this game we get the confidence to make the playoffs, but if we lose we are going to crash and burn and be losers......... Yes high stakes game!

Disappointed not to read up on former Canuck Thomas Grabner.... he was traded as part of the Ballard deal instead of Raymond for some bizarre reason... Grabner has been a solid solid NHL'r... Too bad the Canucks didn't have him instead of Raymond in 2011... might have made all the difference...
