Rich sauce uh

Thick and creamy, the way Pete likes it.

I'm just surprised Pete didn't get my Night Court reference.

Lol, it's stewed spiced tomatoes, onion, and red peppers, and you soft poach eggs on top, with fresh feta or goat cheese crumbled on top. You eat it with fresh pita or naan.

You're quite the foodie, huh? That looks nice, reminds me of some sort of poke bowl

I do the majority of the cooking in my house, and trying to feed 5 kids requires experimentation, or they'll grow up being picky little female doges like Pete w/the poached eggs, lol.

I'm picky enough as it is, generally hating canned products, even tuna. My parents raised me eating all kinds of food, from Indian to Mexican to Italian. I was a lucky kid in that regard.

Lol, growing up in a Greek neighbourhood in St Laurent (before it became little Middle East) also helped. I learned how to make tzatziki when I was 10 from a friend's mom. I still miss the smell of roasting lamb during Easter in the neighbourhood.

Why won't those immigrants learn how to make maple syrup beans, poutine and smoked meat?

You hit the two things I cannot stand.

Other than those, I would eat pretty much anything.

Oh and duck, I cannot stand duck..

Now, I'm not a fan of sweet baked beans, but I make a decent poutine, and I've smoked various cuts of meat, but I don't have the space to properly cure meats with proper temperature control. I make a mean smoked jerk pork tenderloin, though. As well as ribs and brisket.

I'm with you there, Pete. I'm not a fan of game fowl, even dark meat chicken I need to cook with strong flavours to get rid of that gamey taste.

Btw, I love Hawaiian Poke Vs California Poke, though. I love the marinated high sushi grade fish.
