Jesus, you (frank)ers are whiny this morning. The team wins a solid game, you're all, "Why can't they lose properly?", they lose to Chicago and y'all are moaning how much they suck. I'd rather see them play .500 hockey boost our tradeable assets for a decent return at the deadline, or, God forbid, start winning games, sertraline into the playoffs with what we've got (not giving up prospects and picks for a temporary run), squeak into the playoffs, and maybe make some noise.
As for the whole Shea not being a fighter, not standing up for teammates, he takes numbers and makes em pay on the ice. KK stood up, and lay a beating, but also was off the ice for 17 minutes, languishing in the box, instead. I'd be more pissed if our defacto number one defenseman was in the box for 17 minutes because he decided to take Hagg to the woodshed. That would make no sense for the team at all.
I think the odds of them making the playoffs is low, but let's at least boost our assets. Just saying. - Darksyde

I think it means putting Weal back in the lineup, preferably on the PP |

Thing about Kovalchuck is, he's on a high right now for sure, doing and saying all the right things, his stats over 7 games are better than anybody could have realistically expected.... but can he be relied upon to do this for an entire season? At 37? I'm not so sure.... but he does look great and can still shoot the puck, obviously - obie
I was more concerned with his attitude coming in, and quite frankly, his attitude has won me over more than his play on the ice. He has tried really hard to fit in, bring positivity, and fun.
I don't think he can keep up the scoring pace, and when everyone is healthy, I'd still rather see the kids in the lineup - but enjoying it so far. |

Sorry, not a fan of the greasy, Cheeze Wiz, Philly Cheesesteak. Even if, in your case, it's in appetizer size. |

He's impressed for sure but if they somehow managed to get back in the race and make things interesting, a second line of Domi, Kovalchuck and Drouin could be fun to watch when everyone is healthy |

Not just that, but aside from Gallagher, who plays a hard nose, crease crashing style, there's no veteran players on the team with the *skill* Kovalchuck has. If his play keeps up, and the attitude is good, I'd sign him to another (reasonable) 1 year deal to mentor Domi, Drouin, etc.. |

I have an aunt in Switzerland, Cheez wiz was the one thing she'd always ask us to send her or that she would buy in bulk in Canada before going back. |
