Interesting, which guys from the list at RW would you prefer, from among:

MIKAEL GRANLUND, RW, PREDATORS, Age: 27, Cap hit: $5.75 million, Years left: UFA, G/A/Pts: 8/8/16, 0.40 PPG, TOI = 16:52

ONDREJ KASE, RW, DUCKS, Age: 24, Cap hit: $2.6 million, Years left: 1, G/A/Pts: 5/13/18, 0.43 PPG, TOI = 16:39

JOSH ANDERSON, RW, BLUE JACKETS, Age: 25, Cap hit: $1.85 million, Years left: RFA, G/A/Pts: 1/3/4, 0.15 PPG, TOI = 16:04

JESSE PULJUJARVI, RW, OILERS, Age: 21, Cap hit: RFA, Years left: RFA, G/A/Pts: playing in Finland = 15/18/33, 0.89 PPG, TOI = ?

KASPERI KAPANEN, RW, MAPLE LEAFS, Age: 23, Cap Hit: $3.2 million, Years Left: 2, G/A/Pts:
10/18/28, 0.58 PPG, TOI = 16:17

For me, I like the idea of Kappanen, but probably wouldn't happen unless TML feel they need a Miller/McCabe type Dman.
Next, I'd prefer Josh Anderson then probably Andrej Kase

- IonSabres

Kapanen would be my first choice but trading with the Leafs to get him would be difficult. My next choice would be Anderson, but doubtful CBJ moves him.

6K had an up and down game last night. At times he was spectacular and also a few he would like to have back. He admits he has some things to sharpen up. And he is going on the road so he might get another game.

side note- our old friend Justin Bailey has had three hat tricks in his last 4 games. Last player to have hattys in consecutive games was another old friend- Mark Mancari.

JOSH ANDERSON, RW, BLUE JACKETS... anyone have any thoughts on him. It’s an interesting write up...
He'd be the guy, physical, scores, young enough. He's been hurt earlier and not playing well...something is amiss there

I also kick the tires on PULJUJARVI, why not. If it’s a buy low enough situation. We have one Fin that was disgruntled. Now he’s mainly gruntled and loves playing for Ralph.
Agreed, worth a flyer...I think the Oils asking price is high though. Krueger could be the key to unlock his potential (?)

and what about the Bracco kid that can’t crack the leafs lineup. He could slide into scoring position on the rw.
It says he is a scorer, yet from RW he has 3G 27A in 38 games for Marlies, but put up 22G 57A last year there. Wonder what is up with him.

I’m not sure how the makeup of that line would look with olo or skinner on the left.... ideally, what type of player fits best in that roll... Just for discussion....

Skinner. Jack. Samson
Olo. JPG. X...

I’ve locked Samson long term...
I’ve traded for JPG and resigned....
At what value did you assign to both the Acquistion (trade) Cost and then his contract.
Do you feel you are buying very high with him in his contract year? I do, and would worry about another Okposo albatross contract with him. Red flag for me

What type of rw fits at the x?
Bracco
Anderson

His D game apparently sucks...but stick him on Jzck's line with Olo...JC Jack might have 100 A's alone, lol.

Bolts put 5 points between them and Toronto, who hasn't been playing too bad either. Now hunting down the Bruins, but 2 games lost before last nights' blowout hurt them there. Should be fun to watch the race...I'm hoping they do it as I want to see another TML vs Bruins PO series.

I guess this is the million dollar question and the reason I’m not a gm. Sounds great on a message board and I can see the fit...

Cost to acquire is gonna start with either a lotto protected first and/or mitts ... with probably something else?!?

Cost to resign.... he’s 27 at $3.1 currently... who are the comparable contracts to him?

Trade Cost was recently thought to be a 1st.

Cap Hit on new Contract = ?, who knows...has been 0.40 PPG player (35sh pts), but this year is 0.67 PPG player (67.5% increase over his NHL career average)...projects to finish at 33G's having previous scored 20 once in NHL and AHL, with 21A's for 54 Pts, while his highest NHL points total was 43 4 years ago.
My big fat wild ass guess would be 5 or 6 at $5.5+/-. Not bad if he continues that 55 pt pace for 4 years...but if he suddenly falls back to 35-40 pts....that's alot.
Too uncertain for me.

If anything will help me it would be yangs 1,000 a month. My taxes will go up and I’ll probably lose out but it would hurt me the least.

Warren and Sanders would devastate me along with making me pay again for others mistakes in taking out too much student debt.
