You found it. It does seem like it's generally discussed that 110% applies to everyone, when in reality, it doesn't apply to many guys at all.

Dude you can’t cherry pick the absolute best players in a draft and think we would of got them. We could of easily drafted Carlsson, Roy, Fischer and Foley instead and be devastated right now .

I think I would still rather have the top 3. Would be in position to win now. Solid third line there we could of had now though with those prospects.

May as well list everyone that was traded away. I would have preferred the latter and not trading for a quick fix.

Mitts has the worst +\- on the team after only playing 12 games in Rochester with a -7, 4 goals, 3 assists. My fears of him being a complete bust seem to becoming true. He must be just floating every game to have a -7

There are players who justify playing at 18 or 19
In every major sport. It’s the scouts and coaches jobs to determine if they are ready. We just don’t do a very good job in either of those departments

It's so difficult to go back say we would have taken this guy or that guy.

We would have drafted higher or lower, etc.

The only thing we can say is this:

Murray traded away players and a lot of draft picks for ROR Kane and Lehner.

It blew up in his face.

How do you know we don’t get Matthews ? We easily could have been the worst team in the league that year. I accidentally left out Dubois but he would be a perfect 2C on this team right now and we’d still have Dahlin.

I like the alternate reality where we end up with both Tkachucks.

From what I hear Murray was told to go for it, but even if he slows down in all his trades this team is totally different. What he did was (frank) this Franchise for another 6 years, and probably the only reason Botts is getting a longer leash is because of that and the Pegula's recognizing how much they screwed up

Victor Olofsson was not wearing a walking boot while performing off-ice workouts this morning in Bridgestone Arena.

Encouraging sign for Olofsson and the Sabres.

For a guy that left the team voluntarily, and for a team that clearly doesn't think much of him as a player?
