Were not though. And will be pretty good when Skinner and Olofsson come back. - sbroads24
I mean, it's all relative. They aren't terrible, but they lose more than they win and they give up more goals than they score. They're not good, at any rate.
Whatever they are, I don't think team toughness is an issue. |

The Stars announcer on the Benn goal: "A buxom rebound gobbled up by the Stars ... the second one a rotund rebound off the end boards ..." I'm not sure whether to laugh or to cringe. I'm pretty sure I was doing both as I watched the clip.

Probably sees all the WR's declaring and knowing next year they would have a better shot of going in the 1st round? |

More Antonio Brown
"football season over you both can use pallet of @DićksByMail"
Responding to this:
"Agent Drew Rosenhaus conditionally terminated his relationship with Antonio Brown today until the free-agent WR seeks counsel, per an NFLPA source. Rosenhaus wrote in the letter that the NFLPA received today that he would like to work with Brown, but not until he first gets help." - adambuffalo

The march to 12th has begun. They are not a bottom 10 team, not a playoff team either though barring an incredible finish. |

Jeff Skinner had 5 less goals than Okposo had points his first season here
GTFOH with that not an elite talent
3rd most even strength goals in the league over the last 4 years or something like that
Behind Ovi and Kane...
But no not elite - Stripes77
Paying for past performance at max term contracts is foolish. Gets you another Okposo |

Dude, this place is rational in comparison to the stuff you hear sometimes. There's always a guy talking about how we need multiple Peters or how Dahlin should be a winger because he SUCKS or Eichel is soft and not good - jcragcrumple
Wendal Clark was a defenceman turned into a winger and that worked out to be an excellent move. Anything is possible. Dahlin as a number 2 center |

What is Skinner going to do between the years of 2022-2025 ? That’s the sweet spot IMO. I could care less what he did in Carolina and his contract year last year. |

Actually Dahlin’s draft year ..... they did say if he was a forward. He would still be considered a generational forward. |

Stop making excuses, Skinner is a good Hockey player, he might not have been playing with the best talent, but he was getting scoring chances, he was in a slump, stop blaming his linemates. - Buff36
Wasn't getting enough scoring chances, as his shooting percentage was equal to that of his caeer.
Want more goals?
Get him the puck more in high danger areas. Really simple equation.
Goals = Scoring Chances (high danger shots) X Shooting Percentage.
It was his teammates not getting him enough chances...especially after Mojo fell off a cliff. |

So now you're changing your narrative
You hate the contract, I get it
But to say he isn't an elite talent is wrong
It wasn't a 1 yeah wonder either

My issue with Skinner is that it seems he doesn’t knock it out of the park in back to back seasons over his career. |

Mark stone is 10x the player Skinner is yet will never score the amount of even strength goals Jeff does.
Even playing with Eichel the most he can muster up was 63 points, doesn’t look like Jack is missing him much either. |

To me this goes back to Kruger though
