It has gotten better, but still not there yet. But the trajectory is looking good. CooCoo has become a nice surprise.

I do remember that knock on Kurashev upon being drafted, i.e. not being consistent and playing with pace. Teply had a similar criticism.

Danault was an exceptional junior player with a superior defensive game, strong PK player, but most importantly strong quick instincts all over to sheet and seemed very decisive in all his puck decisions, and was just not there as an attacker, but if you have the other phases of the game down, and the gifts, the scoring can and does come.

Some they miss, both ways, just play hockey. If the Hawks constantly whined about every call they'd do two things: Look like a bunch of babies and probably lose badly.

But (and it’s to be expected on a partisan board, so I’m ok with a certain amount of it) - very few missed calls that help the Hawks are brought up.

Actually you are right. Had the Hawks outshot the Jets 40-0 in that period and lead the game 18-0 it COULD HAVE been better.
